“上海国际城市与建筑博览会”（以下简称”城博会“）作为“世界城市日”配套主题活动之一，以其综合性强、规模广、层次高等特点，成为“世界城市日”主题的重要载体。展会高度关注城市建设发展中的以人为本的绿色低碳与高质量发展，重点聚焦于如何在城市规划、建筑设计、基础设施建设以及社区管理等多方面实现这一目标。城博会邀请国内外顶尖的城市规划师、建筑师、环境专家以及相关企业代表，通过交流与合作，将为城市决策者、企业领袖和专家学者提供一个共商大计、共谋发展的平台，共同绘制智慧城市的美好蓝图。

The 2026 City Expo takes "Livable Ecological Homeland, Green and Smart Coexistence" as its theme. It closely follows the arrangements of the 15th Five-Year Plan and the guiding principles of the National Work Conference on Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and implements the annual key tasks set by the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, including transforming the urban development model, advancing urban renewal with high quality, and building livable, resilient and smart cities.

Centering on three major directions —urban renewal, livability and resilience, and smart development —the Expo covers the whole industrial chain of urban construction, governance and operation. It integrates policies, industries and people’s livelihood needs, showcases major projects, benchmark programs and cutting-edge technologies, and builds a collaborative platform for the entire indus? trial chain.

Meanwhile, the Expo is designed to be age-friendly for all groups. Through professional exhibitions, interactive experiences and public participation activities, it presents achievements in high-quality urban development and urban governance.
